10/03/09 I fished with Val and Jim on the last canyon trip. The water was low but rising and I couldn't get much action as we went threw the canyon on the fly. We did however see lots of Bald eagles, a golden eagle , and 4 wild black bears at close range. On the last day heading out of the canyon the fishing was better and even with an early take-out we managed a few fresh from the ocean fish.  |
